Zaleo is Viñaoliva’s high-quality wine project with a sole focus on sales through the on-trade and merchants, never supermarkets. Ever since we opened our own winery is 2009, we’ve been creating wines from Extremadura that surpass all expections, using local varieties to express our region’s identity.

We’re pioneers in Extremadura in producing modern and tremendously fruit-driven tinaja-aged wines. Tinaja de Zaleo is 100% Extremaduran, 100% traditional and 100% innovative. What’s more, it’s a multiple-medal-winner in nuermous international competitions, such as the Frankfurt International Wine Trophy, where it won the Grand Gold.

Furthermore, we’re specialists in Pardina, our local grape variety here in Extremadura. Thanks to our on-going research and investigation into its potential, we’ve made a white that’s terrifically fresh and possesses a vibrant, integrated acidity. It’s sure to surprise you!
